So I went on a haunted hayride last night with my XC team and let me tell you... It was freaking badass!! Obviously I got scared out of my mind but it was super awesome!! Every time my friends kept saying "Oh! Turn around! Turn around!" I'm like "Fuck that! I know there's something behind me but I sure as hell am not looking!" I've learned my lessons from horror games. >^< But seriously it was really awesome. Not worth $30, maybe $20-25, but it was still pretty cool. I wish we could've done the maze there. We kinda ended up doing this mirror fun house maze (had a total flashback from an RP fair scene I did with my friend a while back) and of course I was leader. So I just kept my hands out in front of me and all of a sudden I hear one of the girls say that there's a little girl following us. So I'm just thinking it's just a girl who decided to tag along with us and then I started being pushed forward and the girl said it again in a panicked voice so I just ran out and finally saw the girl. She had to be at least 6 or 7 with gashes on her face. I'm just like "I'm so out! I'm out!" when you bring in little kids in horror shit I'm out! And then right after the hayride of course we had to stop and watch this ghost case lecture thing that was right near it. I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to those types of things but I just hate how it freaks you out! >^<
Writing again
Think I'm going to try my hand at writing a bit more. I'm starting to kind of get back into that groove again. Not too sure how long it'll last but I'll post up what I do write
Trying to hang in here
This year really has not been a good year. We adopted a little pittie puppy back at the beginning of last month. She was such a love and uber sweet. I rarely cave to the puppy eyes but this little one... Lord... Anyway, not even two days later, we saw that she'd been acting strange. Hauled ass to the vet and found she had parvo. We took her to the vet the foster agency went through and waited nearly a week for her to recover. It was such a damned long week... Got her back and she was pretty okay. They were able to help her out and the agency covered the cost since she caught parvo in their care. Mind you, she has never been outside or around other dogs apart from our own. We kept a careful eye on her during the next couple weeks then found out she had three different types of parasites which she got meds and treatment for. Then... last Thursday night we had to take her into urgent care because, again, she wasn't acting okay and was coughing. Vet there said she had either a form of

The more I keep thinking about it, the more I keep wondering why I do keep posting things here. DA is definitely not where it was originally back in, like, 2012-2016ish when I used to get quite a lot more traffic. I mainly just post stuff out of habit now. It feels like people just consume art on here and then just pass on with zero comments or favorites. And a lot of people that do interact with my account, a lot of their own personal content, or favorites, are either in the fetish category, porn or both which makes me seriously uncomfortable. If that is your thing, go for it. But to have it on blast all over your own dashboard... It's same thing with a lot of the groups I am apart of. The only reason why I haven't left yet is because I haven't had a lot of time due to work. It makes me sad that this is what Deviantart has kinda become over the years. I remember a lot of the friends I had on here and how quite a lot of people interacted with my content. It's just gotten incredibly
