Was assigned to Charlie Company for fire team exercises. Unit worked well together; composed of ten other individuals including her. When Reach was attacked in 2552, she was twenty one. She and her unit along with their drill instructor held out in their barracks for ten hours holding back the initial wave of Covenant troopers, suffering injuries varying from plasma burns to broken bones. Half the academy was wiped out before evac arrived to pull them out. After the attack on Reach, Charlie Company asked to be assigned to the units heading to protect Earth. After a debate the unit was allowed to and they flew out to New Mombasa to help fortify the defenses there. By that time, Rachel was a Lieutenant in charge of the unit. They assist the Earth's defenses against the Covenant Loyalists and Flood. When the war ends in '53, her unit is approached by a recruiter for the Spartan IV program, asking them if they wish to join. The unit mulls the decision over and reply within the week, accepting the recruiter's offer. They are then sent over to a base that dealt in the training of Spartan IVs and then are transferred over to the Infinity where they receive their armor, training and become Fire Team Ghost.

Nice! I did something similar with my OC;s in World at Way, just without the Bio. Probably do that after I'm finish writing the story...
